We refurbish, extend and repair them so they meet the needs of the people using them now, without losing the character that made them special in the first place.

- Working around your opening hours. We phase the work and agree the timings with you, so you can keep your doors open wherever possible.
- Keeping the character. Original beams, brickwork and joinery are repaired rather than ripped out. Character is often what brings your customers back.
- Meeting today’s standards. We bring kitchens, toilets, heating, and electrics up to date and in line with Building Regulations.
- Keeping to budget. We source and fit materials within the agreed budget, and talk to you early if anything changes.

Lions Gate, Thorndon Country Park
The historic Lions Gate at Thorndon Country Park was in a state of severe disrepair. We worked with Essex County Council and Mitie to restore the gates with minimal disruption to park visitors.
